The Lumen NOC promptly initiated a comprehensive investigation into the issue preventing phone calls from processing. The team analyzed system performance and monitored critical data to identify the root cause of the disruption. Through these efforts, the failure point was identified, and corrective configurations were applied to restore call processing. All associated alarms cleared at 18:57 GMT, and impacted services have been fully restored; calls are processing as designed.

11/20/2025 2:15PM EST: The problem has been isolated to Lumen/Level3 housed DIDs. The issue originated from Chicago, IL and Richmond, VA and spread nationwide. Most routes have been restored at this time other than those two major interconnects. We will update this page as soon as we receive updates.
11/20/2025 1:59PM EST: We have completed the review of our internal networks and no issues were found. At this time we are awaiting from our main inbound carriers. We will update this page as details are received.
11/20/2025 1:47PM EST: We are seeing most calls completing at this time but aren't considering the issue resolved until we receive confirmation from our inbound carriers.
Toll free numbers are not affected at this time.
11/20/2025 1:17PM EST: We have multiple reports of inbound calls failing immediately when called, our carrier is aware and stating this is a nationwide issue affecting several intercarriers. Please check back for updates.
